2、 Empty pregnancy and gestation facilities: They also adopt single row or double row, open or semi open types with sports platforms, which can be raised in groups or individually. During group breeding, there are 4-6 empty pregnant sows per litter and 2-4 pregnant sows per litter. Sow herd feeding with single feeding (limited feeding). Due to the use of segmented feeding in single feeding pens for group feeding, the focus is on ensuring uniform feeding among individuals, while also providing sufficient movement for sows. However, under intensive conditions, pregnant sows are mostly raised in high-density, positional ways, and the pigsty adopts double row or multi row style, open or semi open style. 3、 Delivery shed: Delivery sheds are often double row type. In order to meet the requirements of a suitable temperature of 16-18 ℃ for sows and 29 ℃ -32 ℃ for suckling piglets, the outer structure adopts a closed type, and the cage adopts a high bed delivery shed. The middle part of the bed is the limit area for sows (generally 0.60-0.65 meters wide), and the two sides are the activity areas for piglets. Set up sow feeding troughs, automatic water dispensers for sows and piglets, insulated piglet protection boxes, and free feeding troughs for piglets in the metal bars of the high bed.
4、 Nursery: After piglets are weaned and transferred to a nursery, they should be provided with a dry, warm, and clean indoor environment. This can be done in a circle or in a mixed group, with ground or high bed feeding. Modern intensive farming often uses all metal fences, with individual fences measuring 2.0 meters in length, 1.7 meters in width, and 0.6 meters in height. The bottom of the bed is 30 centimeters above the ground, and the fence bars are spaced 6 centimeters apart. Set 1/2 cement solid floor and 1/2 leak board under the bed. Solid flooring is conducive to feeding and sleeping, while leaky flooring facilitates the excretion of feces and urine.
5、 Growth and fattening house: Ground group breeding is commonly used, with 8-12 pigs per pen. The area occupied by the pen and the feeding width depend on the number of growing and fattening pigs.
